Artikel ini ditemukan secara tidak sengaja waktu browsing. Kelompok mahasiswa dari University of Texas di Austin menawarkan penukaran Injil dengan hal2 yang berbau pornografi. Ada 28 Injil yang didapatkan oleh kelompok mahasiswa yang dalam websitenya dituliskan sering melakukan hal2 yang "nyeleneh".

The Porno-for-Bibles Booth

February 28-March 3, 2000
This event was probably the most loved and most hated event of ours yet. The booth was simple in concept; students could bring their bibles (or any religious text whatsoever) to the booth, and receive pornography in exchange. This was meant as a parody of all the groups that offer bibles in exchange for pornography, and many people saw the humor in this. Of course, since religion was included in the joke, some people got really pissed off as well. The really funny ones were the people who somehow stayed angry and asked us what the hell we were doing while we just screwed around and made jokes… It is crazy to think they could take us seriously. In response to this dislike, however, those people who thought it was really funny went far out of their way to let us know just how funny they thought it was.
The very first day we held the event, there were so many complaints made to the office in charge of these booths, they came out with the UTPD and asked us to shut down. The way they phrased it made the students working the booth at the time believe that they were being forced to shut it down, but we had cleared all of this before hand, and I arrived just in time to let them know that they only had the power to ASK us to shut down, so the booth went on. The problem really lay in the fact that people assumed that there must be something illegal about it because it was so contrary to what they thought was "ok."
But after this initial response, we received a counter-response from students that absolutely loved the table. We collected a total of 28 bibles, and even a card carrying member of the Christian Coalition took the time to shake my hand and told me that the booth was one of the funniest things he had seen in along time.
I like to think that this event shed a little light on people’s silly tendencies to get offended, but even if very people saw this funny bit of human nature, a whole shitload of people got a good laugh.
